The objective of this workshop was to inform UF IT workers about
updated IT security regulations. Kathy
Bergsma, UF Information Security Manager, and Jordan Wiens, UF Network
Security Engineer presented different aspects of the new
regulations. Focal
topics included: Data Security Standard, UF Network and
Host Security Standard,
Security Incident Response Standard, Security Physical Security Standard, Security Risk Assessment Standard,
Security Training and Awareness Standard
and Security
Continuance of Operations Standards.
